Offered is a Palmer box cue model 9. This one is less frequently offered for sale than its rosewood counterpart, but its design is superior in my opinion. Maple nose and butt with inlayed veneered boxes and pearl gunsights.
I bought the cue on ebay in rough shape and had Paul Drexler do a full restoration. The investment I have in the cue is about $650 and it is perfect. Comes with 1 new PFD matching shaft and the original Palmer shaft, now only fit to stake tomato plants. The original shaft would be worth cutting and converting into a joint protector but that will be up to the cue's next owner.
It is perfect, as new with no issues. Fantastic refinish by PFD studios. Even the Palmer decal remains in tact. Heavy but original weight and balance.
