Hello ,

I have a Palmer PB-7 custom cue that was refinished at Proficeint billiards by Scott , It looks brand new . I was extremley impressed with his work. This cue was made in the late 70's at the Adam Japan Factory , What would be the ball park value of this cue. One shaft , shaft and butt was refinished, This cue is full splice with some of the prettiest teal veneers . Thanks

Realistic sales price will be $300 to $500 range- probably somewhere in the middle. In the latest Palmer Cue Auction this week, a PB-8 with 2 shafts, also mint sold for $380 + 25% buyers premium, so $475 for that one.

This PB-8 was new old stock- never refinished or hit a ball and it is one of the most desirable PB models due to the classic dots and diamonds inlay patterns. If you get more than $350 for yours, you have done well in this current market.

I thought you were trying to make side money buying and reselling cues. But on this one you were just "thinking" about it and just "curious"?

Your are very welcome, With the Adam forearm, that cue should hit very solid, and it has a nice classic look to it. Scott does nice refinish work

I have a third catalog Palmer model 12, also with an Adam forearm, it too, plays great- I will be selling mine, as I just acquired, in the recent Palmer cue auction, the same third catalog Palmer model 12 cue with a Szamboti forearm, also refinished by Scott. I'll be selling the Adam with a mint Palmer Deluxe 1X2 box case- not many mint Palmer box cases around now.
