well it was nice to meet everyone at the va state open this past weekend.

well i meet todd and rayman and i have to say that everything that was said about these 2 guys was correct...both of them were extremely nice and very helpful. and yes i did order a cue from them...my only problem is that i have to wait till next year to get it...oh well…I guess good things (sorry great things) are worth waiting for.

Have a great day everyone!!!

I thought you were going to play in the event?!?! I ended up making it down there and RichR said that I missed you by about 20 minutes. :( Rich said you were a very nice guy... sorry I missed you. Maybe at the Open in Sept??

Just to add too the already great comments. Todd Elkin is the third owner of Parrot Cue. First was Charles Flemming[sp?], then David Hodge, and now Todd. There was an article done about him in Richmond Hampton Road Magazine. He built a butterfly ebony four points with ivory butt , joint rings, and 2 matching wooden thread shafts. If you haven't quess! This a carom cue. I believe Todd said his third one. I gave him the rein in it design, which were greater than I expected. A great person to talk with and a great cuemaker. I'm plan on having another cue design and built by him. The wait for his cue will only grow longer.

I failed to mention that both David Hodge and Todd Elkin built cues without the Parrot . DH and TE. TE 2005 is on the carom cue.
