This weekend is Shooters Valentine Day Tournament. This is a Scotch mixed doubles tournament. The state of women's Pool in Wichita is, shall we say, less than enthusiastic, and they do not even play on a regular basis.
SO, if there is a woman player that is good, and I mean good, from Topeka, Salina, K.C., or from Oklahoma way (Tulsa, OKC, etc) that needs a good partner, please PM me right away. This tournament usually draws Topeka, KC area, and from Oklahoma. Rhonda has been up for it from Tulsa several times.
An example of the type of player looking for would be like: Caroline Ortiz from Topeka or comparable speed.
This tournament is SAT/SUN 8 ball, pays $800 for 1st plus calcutta.
2nd is $400, 3rd $200, 4th $100 plus calcutta money.
I would even be willing to give up my bedroom overnight and sleep on the couch (downstairs) to help cut your expense. I live in a nice area of Wichita, the NW area, with shopping center 1 mile away. This is a sincere offer.
