Pat Diveney cues

this is like the 8th or 9th thread for these two cues in the last month. why do you keep creating new threads?

Go offload these on eBay, and see what they're worth finally? Whatever you get for them, turn around and invest it in a playing cue of your choice...

I'm not sure why you're having the trouble you seem to be offloading these -- maybe they're not up to some willing buyers' standards or tastes, maybe your asking for too much, or the right trade just isn't out there -- but if you're as serious as you seem about getting out of them and into something else ASAP, the bay may be the route to go (the losses vs. selling here can't be all THAT bad, if any at all -- and 'time is money' too -- if you can help it, you don't wanna get caught sitting on these when the cue you want comes along at an affordable cash price, right?). As things stand, with the number of threads and bumps you've got on display for every potential buyer to see, I fear you're maybe just setting yourself up for some lowball offers..

Just tryin' to help..

GLWS. Everyone knows Pat makes a good cue.

Since there isn't a price.... What are you even valuing these cues at in a trade scenario?

The prices aren't too high just nobody wants to put out cash for them which is fine thats why im looking to trade. Thought I had a deal made already but it fell through so that's why this thread was started. All other threads have been deleted. I don't recall having 8 or 9 threads I think that might be a slight exaggeration. I wasn't aware that starting new threads violated any rules especially since none of them were bumped more than they should've been.

Nah, man.. I think you're fine for the most part, people just get a little 'impatient' sometimes, viewing the same cues over and over.. Maybe some of us think it's a new thread, with new Diveney cues, but they just end up being the same ones again :embarrassed2: but whatever, you do what you gotta do..

I did want to make one little comment.. And I hope you don't mind my wondering, but.. If not by the desire to 'pull out cash' , or the amount they're willing to pull out, then how do you measure someone's want of something? Or the valuation they're giving your cues?

It's an extreme example, but.. I guarantee, if your asking price was $10 for the set, someone would 'pull out cash' and they'd be sold in 10 minutes, right? So, basically.. Somewhere between $10 and your asking price, you might attract the 'right' cash buyer? The point is the 'willing & able buyers', in the market for cues like yours, either A) haven't seen them or B) think you're asking too much. And, since the topic of the week has been your various bumps (all within the rules) and reposts, Option A becomes a lot less likely.. hope that makes sense and doesn't just come off as a load of rubbish & poking at you! :) (and it's the same for trades too, there are still values to be played around with in that transaction, of course.)

Also, you'll notice there's been a miniature revolt against threads without asking prices on AZ lately -- that might also be contributing to a lack of 'action' on your end... :embarrassed2:

Bummer about the trade that fell through btw..

GLWS. :smile-square:

(P.S. EDIT- please please please don't feel attacked by Verbalist or me! -- we're just addressing a sort of culture thing on the boards, and also I'm just really wanting/rooting for you to get the best chance possible to offload these cues already and get you into the next ones you really want ASAP! ;))
