As mentioned in another thread yesterday... the North was putting a serious hurting on the South by the end of day one. The North had played so well in fact that it was speculated that Tiffany Nelson might even beat Johnny Archer today...that's how good she & the rest were playing. I got a couple of msgs while I was out & about this afternoon & thought I would share... At 3:50 EST this afternoon, the score was...

North 9 matches 36 games
South 6 matches 24 games

At 4:48 EST, I got a msg saying "Tiffany beats Johnny 3-2"!!! :eek: :eek: All I've got to say is... YOU GO GIRL! :D

I don't know what the score has changed to in the last hour but I'm guessing the North is still winning. Congratulations to Tiffany Nelson on an outstanding win. There's regulars on the UPA tour that have yet to take down the Scorpion! (I know, I know, it was only a race to 3, but still....)
 
Update to the update

There's a couple of matches left to play but there's no way the South can win. Right now the score is...

North 11 matches, 43 games
South 7 matches, 31 games

I think they've got a one pocket & 10 ball match left to play but the North has it locked up. Congratulations to the whole North team! They were a strong team but so was the South. My source called to follow up on Tiffany's match with Johnny... said she played phenomenal... she had a length of the table backwards cut up the rail, another almost 90 degree backwards cut... she was making everything!

Way to go everone, it sounds like a great time was had by all! A special congrats to Mike Davis for taking over the break championship from the previously undefeated Charlie Williams. Mike & that "stroke" never cease to amaze me. :D
 
LOL, just follow me around, I know the winner of everything. Whatever I bet on, take the opposite, it's a SURE THING! :D
