Paul Frankel (Professor-Q-Ball) held THREE events at SBE this year...

And (sadly) there wasn't very much posted about it here on AZ.

Paul is one of the great promoters of 3Cushion Billiards... with his magazine, web site, tournaments, trick shot videos... he is tireless!

This year at Super Billiards Expo the Professor promoted three different events: a team tournament, a nightly race to 5 open tournament and a youth clinic. Yura K Ra sponsored the open, and Tom Rossman (Dr. Cue) ran the youth clinic. Dennis Dieckman was a key sponsor of the whole shebang! The logistics of this type of multi-tiered event can be daunting. Sometimes the challenges to just bringing in and setting up heated 3-cushion billiard tables can seem insurmountable. Yet Paul and his team make it happen year-after-year.

Thanks to all those that made this event happen. I helped a few years ago by vacuuming tables and keeping score/time clock when the Nationals were held at SBE. That's the year Paul decided to sky-dive off the tournament central riser. Allan Hopkins SBE event is a must to attend. Great people...Great vendors...Great karma.
