I was asked a few questions about this cue when I used it as an avitar. I am still working out the kinks of posting pictures but I will try to share the images here.

I think Paul did a great job with it. The baby diamonds lign up with JP or shafts and he really chose a nice piece of amboyna. The shafts are super tight too. I purchased the cue from Joe Salazar and have had positive experiences doing business with him.

Thanks!

Thanks a lot!!!

I hope it satisfies you that I was just fired from my job! And it was all your fault! As soon as I saw these pictures, I felt a sudden urge come over me and I had to, well... lets just say I felt a need to do something VERY inappropriate to myself in the workplace.

HR just handed me my walking papers and I think they're calling the cops!

This Is My Favorite Mottey Box Cue B Far. I Love The Wood And Color Combination.

I Think You Should Post Some Pics Of Your Cantando, The Guys Would Love That One. I Like That One, Almost As Much As I Like This Mottey.

Gian, nice pics and an excellent cue. I'm sure we'd like to see pics of all your box cues together sometime, when you get a chance. Thanks for sharing....Sean

Awsome wood and veneer colors, thanks for sharing......................................................man what a nice cue.

Thank you

As I'm sure you all are aware, I'm new to posting on Az. I appreciate the positive comments and the chance to view people's cues in the gallery. I'll post some Cantando pics soon Marcus, and definitely a group shot of some of my box cues. Among my favorites is a Schick that I acquired courtesy of the Cue Addicts. If you haven't figured it out by now, I've got a chronic case of floating rectangle disorder.

On a scale of 1 to 10 your Mottey Box Cue is an 11!
I would of thought maybe a 20 for the double WOW effect of the way Paul completed everything to perfection.

Awesome looking box cue with an incredible piece of Amboyna Burl.
Thanks for sharing the photos on this one.

Will your future posts include the items in your avatar?
As you have a chronic case of rectangle disorder, I have this thing about the Ivory and Ebony (must be because of my passion for Harley's especially those that are Silver and Black).

Looking forward to seeing the additional Box Cues.

Not a problem...
Nothing like looking out for one another.

Now you have to look at the ivory and ebony cue he posted in another thread (the one in his avatar).
I do believe your scale may need to be adjusted a bit more after you see this one.

Mottey Box

Thanks Jimmy and Dave. That Mottey has earned a lot of attention; Paul hit a home run when he chose the materials. The pics really don't do it any justice. I've got a small group of box cues and several more coming from some exciting builders. I'll post something interesting after Hopkins this year.
