For Sale: a pristine 2007 Paul Mottey masterpiece. Four amboyna burl points into BEM forearm. Four veneers of natural, blue-green, brown and black. Ivory spear on each point. Butt is highly figured amboyna burl with 16 razor-sharp ivory diamonds.
I wish I had a better camera to capture the depth and shine of the burl, but I tried to show closeups of the wood. The joint is piloted ivory with a 5/16x14 SS pin. Hoppe ring and ferrules are also ivory. Butt weighs 15.1 oz. Both shafts are 4.0 oz and 13 mm. There is a mineral stain on one of the points that you can see in the last pic.
Asking $3100 and would prefer not to use Paypal due to the high fees. No trades please.
