Ebony Paul Mottey Jump Break

This is NOT a conversion, this is a custom cue.
Four even and sharp ebony points into maple forearm, irish linen wrap, Ivory Hoppe Ring.

Piloted 5/16x14 S/S joint, Jump butt unscrews right above the wrap.
One 13mm Shaft with Ivorine Ferrule 58” 20oz.

Signed “Paul F. Mottey” between the points, not sure of date but it is at least 12 years old. Cue is played, but still in excellent condition. This cue makes a good playing cue as well if you like a stiff hit.

weird paul didnt date the cue. i have one of his old sneaky peats. hits so damn sweet. good luck on your sale.
 
every once in awhile you see a mottey that is signed with no date...

hell... Guy Crunch on the forum here has a mottey that Paul signed twice by mistake...

mottey jump break

I really like the cue can you tell me what the weight of the cue is with just the jump handle with shaft. also I would like everyones opinion as to how this cue would jump having a steel joint compared to a traditional jump cue being wood to wood. that is the one thing that makes me hesitant on this deal. I would love to have a matching set of cues.
