Hey Group,

I good friend of mine has recently moved to Pawtucket, R.I. and is looking for a league to join. He's an APA SL4. He mentioned he contacted the local rep and didn't get any help......

Suggestions would be great, he doesn't gamble or drink, just wants to find a fun, semi-competitive team to join.

Snookers is a great room. It's in Providence just a few miles away.

And Mike Webb is in Pawtucket...

He is in the same town as a great cuemaker, he should consider getting a Mike Webb cue. :smile:
Tell him to check out the leagues in the MA. He is very close to Attleboro and I think there are some there.

Joe Tucker - great player/teacher in Snookers.

The place I play in, Chalks in Warwick, has a local singles league going on now on Mondays, and a Wed tournament (easier than the Wed Snookers one by a lot, but also not a lot of people show up so can be tough to get a good prize fund). League has about 8 weeks left before new one starts, and there are APA players in there you can chat with about joining a team. No drinking in the room, and there is cheap (I mean $10-50 a set cheap) games that can be found quite often. Should be just right for a 4.
