The way we used to play it back at Bellflower Billiards in LA (1970's), If we were playing $5 and $10...each ball of a six ball rack was a $5 ball and the last ball was $10 & double payoff on a break and runout. By the way, the table was a 10 foot snooker table, Right up front near the counter.
