After some back and forth with a questionable seller, I sent via Paypal Goods and Services, some money for a case. The seller insisted on a screen shot of the transaction. What is up with a screenshot being so important?

Why would the seller need a screenshot, when he’s going to get an immediate email telling him he’s received your payment?

That was my question also. Apparently the "NO" to the screenshot was a deal breaker because he refunded my payment as soon as I refused to send the screenshot. ????

Why would you refuse to send a screen shot? There's nothing confidential in there that I know of. I personally wouldn't ask for one but if asked I'm sure I would send one.

He probably wanted to see if it was Goods or Friends payment and didn't know how to check on his side.

With the increased tax liability, expect a lot of resistance with PayPal Goods payments. Your best bet is a local friend with cash
