Has anyone tried this game, if yes could you rate, specifically how good are the physics: spin, reaction, etc.

There's a demo available at www.ign.com. Must admit to being a little disappointed with the think. English 8 ball rules!! I hate them and I AM english 
The actual plays seems more arcade oriented and the power meeter just dpoesn't seem to make sense - 1 mm more and massive more power. No accuracy. That being said you're supposed to be able to get more power and accuracy with a new cue (arcade game) as you progress (arcade game) etc...
I LOVE Carom 3D. It's aailable strangely for free! Is online! and you get to play 4 ball, carom, 9 ball, 8 ball in fact a lot of games I've never heard of - 6 bal for instance..

I have WPC2004 on my Xbox and it is alright. I haven't been able to adjust for the english (yeah it actually throws the ball..imagine that). I have run a few racks of 9ball on it just making the balls and keeping good angles...hmmm imagine that. The one thing I don't like about it is if you watch all of the animations of the characters they keep showing them walk around the table...especially the women...like they are supposed to be super sexy. Takes too long so I turn the animations off. Pretty cool jump shots though also. Another thing I don't really like is that there is no one-pocket on there. My friend and I used to play one-pocket $5/rack on the N64 one LOL.
I can't even do the very first trick shot either. Yeah they have trick shots and show you how to make them.

Just thought I would let everyone know that if you try to d/l the demo from the IGN website, they make you utilize Internet Explorer and one of their "special d/l clienets" to get the file. Here is the exact message:

To me, that is crap. So I decided to look elsewhere for the download. A quick search on Google came back with a site that I was able to QUICKLY download the monsterous 92.5mb file from without having to use IE or the IGN special client. Here it is:

Again, the file is rather big. If you don't have broadband, and would like a copy of the Demo on disc, then post back here or PM me and I can burn it to disc and ship it to you. I was thinking about $5 to cover the disc cost, postage & a few dollars for my time to do it all.
