I've been working on this one for a while now. It's finally getting close. A bit more work in the butt and have to get the rest of the parts in the top.

This still needs a small pass with the router and a sanding. I just sanded this one down by hand so I could make sure they were going to look right before I put the rest of the pieces in place. The middle and any rough areas will get cleaned up then.

The borders are .004" silver and the center part is .010" silver. The silver parts were made all as one piece with a solid bottom and put in upside down. That's why I wanted to make sure they were going to look right before I put the rest in place.

There are over 200 inlays in this cue and every one of them is bordered in silver. I thought it was going to be relatively easy because almost all of the pieces are diamond shaped, but this is by far the most difficult cue I've ever done.

Just one picture for now. I'll keep updating this over the next week or so.
