Pechauer Break Cue vs Mezz, Predator, OB

Thinking about getting a new Break Cue and was wondering if anyone has opinions about how the Pechauer Break Cue stands up against some of the other top break cues. Their weight distribution argument seems to make some sense and the price seems reasonable.

BTW, not looking for a break/jump. I'm pretty happy with my stealth jump cue.

I've been shooting with the Pechauer Break cue for a couple months. I love it. Hit is incredibly solid. I highly recommend it. There is someone on here selling one in a package that has seen very little use.

Thoughts on how it compares?

Any experience with the other popular break cues and how you think this compares?

I have had my BK2 for ? 3 years or so and still love love it.
I only have tried the Pechauer break and found it to perform very well. Not the same as mine but maybe that is because I am well condition to my break cue.
Really, I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.
I would suggest you find anyone who has one and hit with it.
Otherwise, simply get the one that cost the least and save a few bucks

See my stinger vs pechauer thread in this forum for my full review.

I am really happy with the performance of the pechauer. I break in the 22-23mph range pretty consistantly and I am able to really squat the CB off of the break (I break from the right rail).

I am not so happy with the looks of the cue. Pretty wood, but the natural stain is pretty fugly imo, and don't get me started about the rainbow butterfly splice...

Finally got one, and tested it

Finally got my Pechauer break cue, and did a little testing today. First off, I'm comparing my old break cue which is a old (cuetech fiberglass cue with a kamui black hard tip) against this new one and so I expect a little better results once I get used to it.

First off on my speed: It looks like there was really no noticeable difference as the mph was only about 0.2 different over 10 breaks with each breaking from the same rail spot.

The big thing I noticed was the spread and squat of the Pechauer. I only made few more balls with it over the course of the 10 breaks but the spread was significantly better and the ending squat position was much better. So it does look to me like it transfers more power.

I can see how the forward weight will take a little getting used to but so far I'm impressed.
