Pechauer - heads up

It does not look like a P-01 bbbuuutttt..

The sig does look odd but it may be signed by Joseph instead of Jerry. The only reason I say that is because Joe signs Pechauer with a more dramatic, open P as seen in the eBay auction Bbbuuuttt Joe's example of his signature on the Pechauer website seems to be more legible than the one on the eBay cue.

The Model P-01 seems incorrect. Even if we say it is in the PRO series of Pechauer cues, the PRO-H has a wood to wood joint. This is the 1st cue in the PRO line. The eBay cue looks more like a modified PS-02, the 2nd cue in the PRO Line.

The 1/4 inch black collar on the shaft and 1/4 inch black collar on the butt match the 1/2 inch joint on the PS-02. It appears to have the "Pro Joint" as well although it's tough to see. Special order the PS-02 with a linen wrap and that is what you see on eBay. I'd say that there is 95% chance it is a Pechauer, just get some confirmation on the signature...

In the long run, I don't know a thing about cues... I just happened to stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

There you go. Nice reply from one of the most knowledgeable guys around here.
Thanks Ryan, the sig is odd but you're probably right.
Anyway the PS-02 has only stained maple forearms but maybe was a special order. Who knows...
I appreciated you your knowledge man.
If so the price is fair for a solid wood to wood cue.

(Sorry fro bumping this just wanna to clear the matter)

I'm also quite familiar with these cues and I would put that figure @ 99% it is in fact a genuine Pechauer.
