This is a lightly played Pechauer cue that I got a few years ago, but only played one league season with because I just didn't like the hit. It has a firm hit, like a stainless joint Schon, and I prefer a softer hit. I bought it used from a guy whose wife had given it to him as a present when he took up pool as a hobby after retirement. He lost interest in the game before too long and it wound up in his closet for about 20 years. Thus, it's about 23-25 years old, but lightly played.
I couldn't match this up in any of the Pechauer catalogs or brochures I found online so I got in touch with Pechauer for some ID info. According to Jon at Pechauer it is a PEC07 which was part of a line of cues they made exclusively for Cuestix. He thought the original retail was about $600 on this particular model, but he wasn't sure as Cuestix was the company that set the retail on it.
It is in excellent condition with no dings or scratches in the butt, and only a couple very minor dings in the shaft that could be easily removed - no broken fibers. The cue rolls straight together and apart. The photo of the points shows a dull spot in the finish that could be polished out with no problem. It doesn't show up at all in person as far as I can tell, and it wasn't until I was cropping the photo for uploading that I noticed it at all. It measures 58.5" from the top of the tip to the bottom of the bumper and weighs 19.26oz (15.24 butt and 4.02 shaft). The tip is 13mm. The woods look to be cocobolo and maple, but I am not an expert so you be the judge.
The price is Sold with shipping to the lower 48 states included. Shipping internationally or to Alaska/Hawaii/PR is available at additional cost. I can take PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or a USPS money order. PayPal will be "goods and services" for your protection and there will be a 2.9% fee added. The buyer will have a week to examine and shoot with the cue, and if they don't like it for any reason they can return it in undamaged condition for a partial refund - Full purchase price minus my actual shipping cost and any payment fees that the payment service doesn't reimburse me during the return. Buyer pays for return shipping.
April 14, 2023: I now have this listed on eBay as well for a slightly higher price plus shipping, so if you like the cue but are nervous about an online transaction you can do it very securely through eBay.
