Pechauer

I've found a Pechauer at a really good price but I'm not able to hit it. I've been told they hit with the stiffness of a Schon or Joss. Can anyone give me some info.

Pechauers are very well balanced in my experience. I don't play with it much since my son has adopted it. But they are a very good quality production cue. To me the hit is a bit stiffer than the Joss I have. I would put a stiffer shaft on it if it were my player. Mine is pretty old.

I would agree that they hit comparatively to a Schon...I'm not sure that I'd say that it's the same as a Joss though. I've had a couple of them and really like them. I also feel they hit similarly to an Espiritu, which is what I currently have. Heck, even the shafts are interchangeable on the ones I've had.

I had a Pechauer that I really liked. I eventually traded it towards a Schon R-1 though. There was nothing wrong with it, I just wanted something different for a while.

Better. I've always liked the look of Schons but hate the hit. I like them better than any of the production line Joss cues, also.
