I was there not too long ago, 9 Mile Billiards was good, I think they had a snooker table, and another place I went to is about an hour drive, but a nice room if you don't mind the smoke, and a pretty drive along the coast. They had a pretty good tournament but it was so smoky in there that I could not stay long enough to actually finish playing, made me light headed and sick to my stomach. I basically dumped my two matches and left. When I was there just to visit and play it was not as bad, but the filled room was no good for me. Wish it was not so bad for breathing because the players I faced were not bad, seems mostly B players in there, would have liked to have played more.
9 Mile Billiards also had smoking but no tournaments there, APA crowd, don't think I ran into anyone better than me while I was there so expect no or very few A players. They have two 9 foot Diamonds going by memory and some 9 foot gold crowns with rest bar tables. Starcade has nice setup equipment but further away.
