If someone likes it and has the $$$ to burn on a shiny new cue they like - more power to them.
I'm not really a fan and i think $5k is ridiculous, but that's why i won't be buying one. Different strokes.

It's not that bad. The design is either pretty clever to you or pretty much a caricature of how a "Scorpion" cue would look like. I mean there is a lot of work that went through it.

It won't make me play better but I can basically play with anything. I know want a cue that makes me look good.
Not measurably different than a minimum priced Predator with the same shaft.

I agree on the LD stuff. And shared the same opinion on the breakers until I ordered a $2500 custom cue to break with about a month ago. Now it turns me into a hypocrite if I agree with you on that one. Although I’d never shoot a Predator, $800 isn’t a bad price if it’s a breaker from the manufacturer you like best…..Not a Predator fan and have always thought the whole “LD” thing waa a gimmick marketed to marginal players in an attempt to sell hopium. Irrelevant of my thoughts, they certainly have an army of followers as those $800 break cues and jump cues and $400+ Revos seem to fly off the shelves. While it appears this cue was made from wood cut from the ugly tree, I'm quite sure it will sell to their fanboys like all of their other stuff does. Everyone has their something, there’s an ass for every seat.
That is one gaudy piece of wood and... I can't count that high, but looks 'spensiv.'

They could have done soooo much better , I own a P3 Predator / Revo 12.4 that for the money ( $ 1200 ) is plain and " ugly " . But I bought it to try a Predator product and CF and with the Stimulus check a while back , it didn't cost me anything so to speak . I shoot well with my Predator and like it , Being an artist , built fishing rods , design and carve lures to make a master and make silicone molds and custom paint them . So looking at that cue right there ............... NOPE
