Thanks for sharing that with us. I'm happy to see that the cue sports are alive and well in Iran. What would you say is the most popular pool game in Iran (Straight Pool, 8-Ball, 9 Ball)? Are there a lot of pool halls and tournaments? :smile:

Snooker is the popular game in iran . 8 ball is played for fun mostly . Pyramid&carom were played some years ago before but is banned now .
We do have a national team for : 8-ball , 9-ball , 10-ball , snooker (15 & 6 reds , English billiard .

At least 200 pool halls were shut down within past 2 years .
