Anybody played there? I understand they have 4 tables, free pool on Sundays.

How was it? Any action there?

I live in the area and the place sucks as a pool hall. The place is cramped and the tables are lousy. A better place to go is the Mark II (it's a bar) on Western Ave. just south of Howard Ave. Great eight foot bar box with very fast Granito felt. League nights are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday but if you get there after 10:30pm or before 7:00pm the tables are open, free play every day. Talent is good and you can probably find action after league nights. Tony who owns the place is always willing to play somebody. Only problem is the table is winner stays and some nights that list gets loooong. BCA rules apply for eight and nineball. Waitresses are smoking hot and it's open till 4am every night so overall you can't go wrong.

There's another bar called Cary's Lounge on Devon just east of Western. It has a slightly larger eight foot table (larger but proportionate) than the Mark II and is less crowded. Felt is Simonis and the pockets are cut tight. Same league nights apply as the Duece. Because it's less crowded the talent isn't as great except for Tuesdays. Parking is a biatch but the effort is worth it. Winner stays and BCA rules apply. This place is only open till 1am.

PM if you want more info on the places to play up there.

Flex...If you're looking for action in Chicago, go to Chris' Billiards, on Milwaukee. That is the action spot, and you'll get all you can handle!:D
