This cue was commissioned by one of Paul's avid collectors. The request was to make something no one has seen before. Paul came up with the Fountain Pen. In recent conversations with Paul, he said that he have to charge over $4,500 to replicate this cue today. I am happy to provide videos or more pictures for prospective buyers. I live in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I can provide references.
Thanks for looking!
SO, I have this posted in a "PFD Cue" private group on Facebook. Paul Drexler and the "avid collector" both commented on the cue...

Frankly this cue is one of my favorites - the burl is spectacular and the silverware only high lites how special this design really is . . .

I am that avid customer of Paul & Ellen. What a fantastic cue I could look at it all day. I chose a few blanks for Paul to finish for me during a memorable visit to Paul's shop. I remember he sprayed alcohol on that blank and it came alive like no other piece of would Ive ever seen. My wife was with me Paul took us for a great lunch and tour of the town. Much of my collection has turned over once or twice but I still have a couple PFD favorites. This cue will sell quick...
The wood was so beautiful neither one of us wanted to add points or any inlays that would break up the burl. Paul came up with the fine silver fountain pen motif which was perfect. A little sale in the rings and great piece of black natural imported hide.
I've traded or sold; Mottey, Schick, Drexler, Scruggs, Bludworth, Rick Howard, Alex Alpert, Thomas Wayne, Dale Perry, Joey Chin, Scott Gracio, Mario Carasa.
