Pfd cues

Most people dont realize what wonderful players these cues are. I am almost embarassed to say I have mine in a display case. I played with it for about year but it was so nice, I had if refinished and put in the case.

I played great, it really did.

I saw this cue (or one just like it) at Paul's shop about a month ago. It is a beautiful piece of snakewood. The pics can't do it justice.

Looks like your cue was being finished the same time Paul was finishing a cue for me (see pics attached). My cue is the Purpleheart cue with the razor sharp Ivory veneers. The cue will actually have a solid ivory joint. I changed my mind on the joint at the last minute. Should have the cue next week.

Paul is also completing a cue similar to the middle cue in the pics, but it will have Birdseye Maple with the Amboyna points and butt sleeve.

Benny, I LOVE that cue. Snakewood is my favorite. I did not know that you could make a cue from Snakewood entirely due to the instability of the wood. I assume that it is definitely cored?
How does it hit to you? I love the hit of my PFD's, Paul does very nice work. That cue way up on my list for real beauties.. Congrats, Joe

I agree, it's gorgeous! At a tournament this past weekend I played a guy who had a Mike Durban cue that had a snakewood forearm and butt sleeve with a 3-piece staghorn wrap. It was pretty stunning!
