Anyone got a break cue with a phenolic tip who changed it to a leather tip?
I'm thinking of doing this. The phenolic tip doesn't hold chalk well, increases the chance of a miscue/poor contact, and I'm not convinced it actually improves my break.
I also cannot use it as a player when needed.
Would a hard/very hard leather tip do just as well?
Is it possible to replace a phenolic tip with a leather one?
Thanks!
