Phenolic Tip/Ferrule combo or Phenolic ferrule/white diamond

My purple heart shaft for my break cue is almost done, just about ready to put the ferrule and joint in.

My question is, i have phenolic rod that i can make into tip/ferrule combo, or should i use the phenolic ferrule, and a white diamond tip.

I use the white diamond tip on my jump cue and it jumps extremly well but i have never used it in combination with a phenolic ferrule

Any input?
