I have some phenolic material and a lathe, how do u attach the tip to ur stick? Do u glue it on same as a leather tip? If so, what kind of glue is used?

I had one come off before. I have found that Locktite Super Glue Gel works fine. On the one that came off, I scratched an X into the ferrule tip, bingo. Stayed on just fine. That was one out of about thirty. The guy had one strong break!
