Phillippi sneaky pete question

what would you say a custom phillippi sneaky pete with ebony points is worth? it is older and made by richard. it is not made with duffrin blanks or anything. the cue is dead straight and in decent shape. can anyone tell me what a good price for this would be?
thanks

Pictures may help. That way we can see what condition the cue is in. Plus, how many shafts? Shaft size? Ferrule material? Wrap or no wrap? More info would go along way in getting an estimate of price. just my .02 cents

I don't know, but my friend Barryc here on AZ has a phillippi sneaky pete (not ebony), but with a nice leather wrap that he would sell for $300 in perfect shape if that gives you and idea.

unfortunately i dont have pics yet. it has one shaft, 13mm. the ferrule isnt ivory, not sure what it is. no wrap, it looks just like a house cue put togther.
the condition isnt perfect. id say 95% tho. only has one half inch nick in it from what i saw.

No rings at the butt and no rings at the joint. Basic bar cue/sneaky? A real basic sneaky runs you around $275-300 new from Rick. If you can confirm the Richard made it, it might add a slight amount to it, It being ebony will add somewhat, but certainly no more than $250-300 based on the description you have given. You need to deduct a little for the 1/2 inch nick. It is certainly not 95-98% with a 1/2 inch nick in it.

Call Rick tomorrow between 9am and 5pm and ask him what a plain ebony sneaky would be---410-437-2386---he is a super nice guy and won't bite your head off.

there are 2 rings at the butt i forgot to mention, bama. other then that its a sneaky.

Depending on how fancy the rings are, add $25-50.
