I couldn't get my 21st century camera to work. The photos were taken with my 18th century camera. I hope you can still make out the scene.

Lol. For a minute there I thought it was just my 18th century eyes!

some effects are good-looking, some are annoying for the eyes and make pictures looking worse. Like in posts #10 and 11.
I like one pic from post #5 (third one) which looks like a painting by some of the impressionists. It was possible due to bright solar light which adds high contrast and bright colors. I would even want to make a big print of it and hang on a wall to decorate a pool hall.
 
Some of the effects of the photos are to make sure the players still get action when they go on the road. I will post more later.

To make those effects on your photos:
1. Image Manipulation Program, GIMP [www.gimp.org]
2. From GIMP select FILTERS -> ARTISTIC -> OILIFY, GIMPRESSION, CARTOONIZE
3. ENJOY PRODUCING FUN EFFECTS
4. GET MORE PHOTOS

GIMP also works great for rendering billiards balls as in my new avatar. I created each ball as a flat image and then used "map to sphere".
