Pick your poison on what you would prefer to gamble at

Ok, basically its a open thread on if you could walk into a pool hall and have a choice of what game to gamble with what would you pick and why.


Right now i myself would choose 8ball on a 7ft or 8ft table.

Why? because if you match up with the right person it creates a great match for gambling, and there will be alot of back n forth of someone winning several games in a row and then, the other guy winning several games. Plus saftey play is always fun in 8ball. Also depending on your skill level your probably always going to have a chance at the table, and hopefully be able to hit a object ball.

As for table size, 8ft tables are probably perfect for playing 8ball, not too much room like a 9ft, and not really cramped like a 7ft. Plus if the balls spread right, you leave alot of room for runouts.

Definitely bank pool... because most people don't bank NEAR as well as they think they do. Making a single bank shot in 8-ball, 9-ball or any other game is a lot different than banking and playing position for another bank, then another, then another...

everybody likes 9 ball, but I voted for 7-ball.. Id like to see more people playing...
