the cocobolo butt for a J/b looks AMAZING. love the figures on that wood. :D looks very nice m8! :D if i had $ left for a cue, id be interested. but im flat.
 
J&D custom cues hit great. I tend to get better draw and a little more spin with the cue I got.

Solid , no coring here
2 12.8 mm. shafts
brass rings throughout
black phanolic throughout
brass radial pins in both locations
this cue hits well balanced and breaks em like no other

Is that right? Or is that a misprint?

$1200 just seems really high for a jump/break.
 
I'm not trying to knock the cue or be negative or anything like that.

I am genuinely wondering what the price is. $1200 just seems high.
 
I agree that seems high ,but $120.00 seems too low also. Maybe Jim from J&D can clear things up for us? Cause at $120.00 consider it sold!!!!!!!!

$120 seems too low. $1200 seems way too high.

I am wondering if it was supposed to be $200 and the "$" got typed as a "1"

Here's hoping Jim clears it up...

Guys,

Yes the price was correct. The cue was made and sold here in our shop and the customer got with us to see if we could sell it for him.
This is HIS asking price for HIS cue!
No way shape or form was this OUR price for this cue.
We are helping someone out trying to sell it FOR HIM. The post said 1200.00 OBO.
He is wanting the best price for his cue and yes he set it a lil high I think. But if anyone would want to make offers , all we are is a relay contact for him.

OK, I'm a little confused. In the first post with the pics you say,

"A few pics we thought you guys would like to see of some cues nearing completion."

Now you say it was a cue you made and "sold" and that is the price the guy wants for it.

If that is the case, that it is someone else's cue you made, I would think you would tell the guy that the price he wants is crazy and he needs to post or otherwise find a buyer on his own. It would have saved a lot of the feedback you are seeing now.
 
Agree with you Jeff. Original post was some time ago , was the only pics I had of the cue. So we restarted the thread to use the pics. Alot of the replies were uncalled for anyway. That is what the pm setting is for. If we took all the wise cracks and knocks off the forum , we would see some good reading and nicer threads.
