How are the photos going to help? Are you trying to get an idea of different hues of Purpleheart? Mine is about as purple as I've seen.raemondo said:Hi guys,
Does anyone have pix of ebony and purpleheart cues? It doesn't matter which one is used in the forearm. I'm looking to get a new cue done up and I really could use some help!
thanks

Different cue, I'm sure.raemondo said:Dear Fred,
Thank you for the pic. I remember you showing me the pix once before...do you mind showing me a full pic of the cue?
Lambros. A zillion years ago, when I promised myself that I'd only get "one more cue," I said that I'd get a Lambros. Finally did it.. You are right, shades of purple are important, and the cuemaker recommended figured purpleheart, so hopefully I will get to see some in this thread. Yours really is as purple as they come! Is that a Gilbert BTW?
Personally, I like to put separation between PH and ebony.More importantly, I was trying to decide if I should do purpleheart points into ebony or ebony points into purpleheart. The cuemaker recommended something without veneers and I wanted to see if this is something I'd like.
