"Picture Shots"

Hey guys, first post here.

I have ALWAYS wanted a managed list of what I would call "picture shots" that I can practice. Here is my situation.

I have alot of knowledge about angles, speed, tangent line, rail english, etc... I have studied tons of this stuff and use it. But when I am at the table, my head is OVERWHELMED with possibilities for the path to the leave after each shot.

I always thought it would be great if I could have 10-30 shots that I could remember; where each shot is a certain angle, and I practice 2-3 possible leave paths from that shot, master it, move on to the next shot. This could be my practice "routine" or "workout."

I have never come across this information, and I'm not sure what these "picture shots" would be called.

Has anyone seen something like this? What is it called?

If there is nothing like this out there, how should I go about developing it?

Thanks in advance.

Bert Kinisters 60 minute workout for 9 ball comes to mind, though all of his shots are designed for playing center of the table postion (except for a few)

The Pro book by Bob Henning is another with set shots offering different positional paths.

Currently my practice routine in the morning includes a long cutshot to the corner in which there are three positional paths based upon cuetip english. I do this shot from both sides of the table.

You know when I first saw that video, I was sure it was what I was looking for. I bought the video and was seriously disappointed and never used it. I also found Kinister to be quite an annoying teacher and commentator. Thank you though.

I am looking at the Bob Henning "The Pro Book" that you recommended, and it does say that it trains 16 "reference shots" (that may have been the terminology I was looking for). Henning also has "The Advanced Pro Book" which seems to be an updated version. I wonder does it have the "reference shots as well?
