The Searing "Robber"

hey why does the one cue just say Rob? is that your name?

Haha, i been delurged by questions on that Searing... its pretty well known that Dennis only signs his cues at the forearm, if the blank is made wholly by him. Many of the Searings Sneakies, including the last 2 u see on ebay, had blanks from Schmelke, and so was not signed.
My name isnt "Rob", i was told when i bought it that this guy is the assistant to Dennis Searing in his shop.
Now i have codename this cue the "Robber"...

A basic, but amazing playing cue.

A simple Searing, if there is such a thing!

> No doubt,Ribdoner offered me a totally plain 4 point Searing with the same color combination in the veneers as the one Icon has on his site,Uni-loc pin with full length SS joint for 1150. If I had bought that, and I almost did,I doubt double that would have got it from me,it hit that good, forget the market value. Tommy D.

J. Cincy,

I find that Searing of yours to be very interesting. I myself, could care less about a SS joint; however, I noticed that it looks like the joint is cut in half in the picture. Now I don't know if that's because of the picture itself, but I honestly doubt it. Am I right? Isn't this a shorter SS joint.

I believe that is the cue I traded in 2004, Cocobolo, around 18.5 oz and the best playing cue I have had in my hands. If it is the one I regret letting it go to this day! I spoke to the original owner of the cue and he feels the same as me.

just email to Dennis, and he told me that the " ROb" cue is in fact one of 2 cues made by Dennis for Steve Mizerak. Steve wanted to give the 2 cues to the young players in his hall, and requested Dennis write the name on the forearm. i got the East Indian rosewood, while there is another one which the player stil has...

Yes, It plays exceptionally well. I'd never get rid of it, No reason to get rid of a cue that plays perfect. There is nothing out there that could play any better.

It is a short joint.it gives the cue more of a one piece feel.

The Searing cue that has the name ROB on it was made for a young kid who played at Mizerak's pool room. Rob helped dennis a few times like sweeping the floor in the shop and stuff.

yeah. Dennis told me. he said its East indian Rosewood, and he made a pair for Steve Mizerak. the other cue the player still has it. Rob never did any cuework though.
