Piedrabuena vs. Avila

Very good match to watch and learn, post more if you got them.

I heard that Avila is a many times Mexico Champion, he is their best player. Pedro is aguably the best/most consistent player in U. S. for the last year his average went up to 1.30 per inning.

I think Ramon Rodriguez from Peru is the best player in the whole part of America. He's often listed in the top 20 of the world ranking on UMB. He has been invited to play in AGIPI masters before. but Is he consider a world class player base on his playing strength? I doubt it...
Also Javier Teran from Ecuador, in my opinion, plays better than Pedro and Avila.
And well, the European are dominating the three cushion world with so many great players and the only player from Asia that i can put up there in the top 10 list was Sang Lee who sorry to say has passed away. Lee was a great player!

Sometimes i wonder, what it would feel like to be one of those great player! Think...

As you heard Mr Luis Avila is many time mexican champion, very dangerous player,
To me I don't think that Ramon Rodrigues is the best,Haven't said that , he is been playing most of the world tournament for the past 10 years, so eventually he is in situation like collecting points and exposed to the best players........ while Pedro is not a professional player like Avila ,Xavier and Ramon....He is not full time billiard player as he supposed to be, he practice in his room in Sandiego with players who can average maximum 0.7 while Avila , Terran play most of the time with players who average over 1.00 easily!

FYI, Pedro won the pan american championship for 2009,
And while he live in Europe, He won many games agaisnt Blomdahl , Sayginer, Zanetti and many many Champion,,,,,,,,,,,,,

At the end , I think that most of the players that you named play in the same average , and you can't really tell who is better, it's all depend about the period of time and who is playing in a better shape during that period.

Yeah, You are right about it. Pedro once told me that he doesnt have anyone in Sandiego to play with. I think Pedro's knowledge about the game is very very high and he has such a good stroke. He came to our club a few times for group teaching (and got paid $400 dollars a day, not bad huh?). He's a cool guy overall.

You made a good point, some players are ranking high in the world list because they participate more on the world cup and gain ranking points.

It surprise me when you said Pedro, while living in Europe, has won many games against the Greats...but I believe you though...
