Purchased this Scruggs sneaky and seller states that the joint on the TS shaft is "wobbly" for the first few turns, but does tighten completely and cue is playable. Sounds as if insert threads have somehow been "messed with" as he also states that the pin is fine. Can the insert be replaced or possibly re-threaded? Prefer to use the TS shaft rather than having a new one made.

It can be easily repaired.
