pin size for lucasi?

HELP. i have a lucasi and i'm trying to buy a set of jps for it. bought 5/16-14 and they wont even begin to fit. does any one know the size. mine has threads all the way. is 5/16-18 a fatter pin?

The older first edition Lucasi's had a 5/16x18 thread, piloted, IIRC.

The new lucasi cues use a uni-loc joint, the older lucasi cues used a piloted 5/16x18, I dont recall any other pins being used but that dont mean there wasn't another pin used. If the 5/16x14 wont fit due to pin being to large than its probably a 3/8 pin. 3/8 x10, or radial are common pins of this size. the 5/16x18 pins is the same diameter of the 5/16x14, the 18 is just a finer thread.

if its 5/16x18, thats the same as meucci or players, find someone with one of those and try to screw thier shaft or joint protector on.

that's what has me baffled. my first cue was a players and i still have the same protecter.next was my meucci and they fit that,and the lucasi
