Pin size on a Frank Paradise Titlist conversion?

Anybody here know off-hand what the pin size might be on a mid-1960's Frank Paradise Titlist conversion with a piloted brass joint?

I inherited my grandfather's cue and would like to pick up some joint protectors for it but can't do so without knowing the pin size.

I'll post pics later this evening if that would help with ID'ing the pin.

Thanks,
Alan

They should be 5/16-18..

I'll post pics tonight to help narrow it down.

I asked because I'm looking to get joint protectors for the cue and start playing with it more rather than just letting it sit in it's case.

Here are some pics of the joint on the Paradise Titlist. And help IDing the pin size and possible suggesting a place to get joint protectors (or have them made) is greatly appreciated.

Have seen a couple of his cues with a 5/16 pin with some odd-ball threads...like 16 tpi. Yours looks like 14, so joint caps shouldn't be too much of a problem except the shaft (could probably be modified to fit). But if you've got that odd-ball pin size, a cuemaker with good machinist skills should be able to hook you up with a set.
