Pin Size?

I was wondering what size pin is used on schuler cues in their joint?

I was also wondering have any of you made a butt to fit a schuler shaft and if so how difficult is it / what are your suggestions on it?

I would measure the o.d. of the pin, I believe it is a .302X14 on the original Schulers.
