Pad came off on my OB Classic Pro for a 3/8 x 10 joint. Apparently none of the cue repair guys that I know in the area have a replacement pad so I am hoping that someone has a quick solution. Unfortunately I don't have a spare shaft and would like to get a pad so I can have a new tip put on my shaft or I would be willing to buy a straight OB Classic Pro for my joint within reasonable driving distance from Detroit. OR, I am crazy enough to drive further for a shaft and be willing to play someone for money so they have a chance at a nice tip for helping me out. I was hoping to play this weekend because I have nothing planned so any help is appreciated.

Might even be interested in buying a cheaper cue with a OB Classic Pro shaft of whatever joint, ideally the 3/8 x 10 for obvious reasons. Who knows, I have a Ob Classic shaft that I have no use for [doesn't have a tip or pad on it right now] that I might be willing to part with at a good discount or for FREE depending on the right circumstances because I really want to play this weekend. Have a bunch of school stuff to do starting next week so this weekend would sure be nice to spend playing pool.

why not just call OB up in Plano TX, and have them ship you a pack of them, and have them overnight them if you need them right quick ??

Seybetrs is really not too far from Detroit, IMO.
In your situation, if you must have a shaft today, that might be your best route.

Seyberts

They close early on Saturdays. 120 miles one way give or take. And it's snowing. Enter Yelp Detroit billiards you'll get quite a few hits. Don't know what area you're in. Ball cue and brew in Lincoln Park, Ivory Room in Westland. Shooters in Livonia. There are quite a few, and there's more across the bridge in Winsor.

I was thinking Seyberts but couldn't find out if they would put tips on today or if they had the shaft I needed in stock. They were only open 4 hours today and it is 3 hours without traffic one way and it was snowing pretty heavy early so I had no margin for error so decided it wasn't worth the attempt.

With the Classic shafts, it probably won't hurt it to have no pad for the weekend. Get a tip put on, just without the carbon pad, and play for the weekend. Then call us up on Monday and we can get some on the way to you. You can then have one put on. It'll cost you 2 tips, but it'll have you playin too!

Just tryin to help!
