Places to play in Monterey California

Easy Street Billiards is not far from downtown Monterey. I think it is under new management, again.
Blue Fin is upstairs near the Aquarium -- more touristy.
There is Fast Eddy's in Capitola and Surf City Billiards in Santa Cruz.
All of the above have 9-foot tables.
Not sure about Salinas -- google maps reports nothing.
Easy Street Billiards is the place to play in Monterey. If you like straight pool, a friendly fella named Danny is always up to play a game. Just be prepared for a tough battle.

Fast Eddy's in Capitola is one of my favorites in the area. A competitive game can usually be found here.
Salinas has a small room in the rough side of town but I think it closed up. I drove by the area recently and didn't see it as I was passing through.

Closest besides the spots in Monterey would be our rooms in Santa Cruz, and I would HIGHLY recommend Fast Eddie's. Surf City is under new management and has taken a serious downward turn as a pool hall, as I don't believe the new owners know what they want to do with the place (I heard the plan is to get rid of most of the tables and turn it into more of a nightclub-type place). As such, the tables have not been properly maintained in a very very long time and the environment caters much more to the college student party crowd. If you come to Eddie's you'll get a much more traditional pool hall with good players and well maintained tables.
