Places to Play in Orlando Florida

Does anyone know of any good places in Orlando to play. I am going to Orlando in May and would like to see some professionals actually playing pool in a good tournament or some good pool halls to see them in action.

Well, since Pro-Billiards is out of business, i think people kind of gravatated to Fast-Breaks and Jimmy's. If you really want to see pros go to Capones, it isn't Orlando, but it is worth the 1.5 or so hours it will take to get there. Jimmy's is open 24/7 I believe, and it is the hot spot of Chaves.

PROG8R thanks for the reply. At Capones are the pro there all through out the day or is there a specific time you see them come into the pool hall. Also are there any links to Fast Breaks and Jimmy's. I mean website links.

What about Orlando Billiard Center, which was located at the site of the now defunct Pro Billiards? Has that closed too?

Last I heard, it was closed also.
The pros at Capones will be hit and miss (depending on tournaments that might be going on that week), there are some very, very strong players on Monday nights tourney. You might want to call to get a better answer to your question.
Jimmy's and FastBreaks, I dont think they have websites (But I have never looked either). I think Adam Wheeler and Louis Viera Play out of there still, Charlie Williams was local to Pro-billiards, I dont know where he is now (maybe Jacksonville with Thorsten H.) Darren Appleton and some French guy were hanging at Jimmy's for a while as well as Ignacio (sp) Chaves (again probably sp). It is hard to tell when you will see the $$$ rolling, but it is a good chance you will if you have a few days).

Does Josh Degler still play out of Jimmy's? If you run into him, please let him know that Rudy (the Professor) from the Virgin Islands is trying to get in touch with him. I'll PM you my cell #.

Thanks,
