U " one of those guys " ? Either way Lou could tell ya I'm sure.

are there any rooms that dont serve alcohol?

It would need to be a family friendly place (a place that allows kids to enter), like maybe a bowling alley that also has a pool room attached to it. I imagine places like that are very hard to find these days. Pool rooms that do not serve alcohol do not seem to stay in business. Good luck.

St. Louis is the home of Budweiser and a booming craft beer culture. So what you're asking for is rather limited. The only place I can think of w/o alcohol would be Cue & Cushion, an old-style room with a mishmash of tables.

The best equipment in town is at Teachers, 4 9' tables and a slew of 7 footers, all Diamonds. It's a nice mix of serious players and civilians. Yes, there's alcohol but the bar is separate from the playing area. Worth a visit. Closest I can think of to Ballwin would be Saratoga Lanes, an old-style walk up with, I think, half a dozen old Brunswicks, but, alas, they are heavy on the Budweiser.

thank you lou. its a long story why i need a place without alcohol. i for one really love the craft beer culture. thank you for the info. if i were to go to cue and cushion are their table playable or is it not really good equipment?

The equipment is fine. The owner/manager obviously knows pool. Old style place catering to people who also know pool. Deserves our support!
