I will be going to Stratford Connecticut October 19-23 for work. Is there anywhere to play close by or any bar table tourneys during the week? Just looking to get out and not stay in my hotel room the whole week.

There are several nice places in CT although I don't know location relative to where you'd be. Yale Billiards and Pool Table Magic off the top of my head. Don't know about tournaments but Yale Billiards setup a webcam recently thanks to yours truly ( I was streaming the CT Jr State Championship from there and the owner asked me about it, then got a webcam and was streaming a week later ) and has been putting on challenge matches for a "List" they have going and are pretty active on Facebook. If you head over you can probably get a few good evenings of playing with the regulars. They have a tight table also to play on, although it's a bit too tight for my liking, forces too many restrictions on what shots you can do.
