Placing an order for Southwest

I can say I don't like the hit after playing with one for years! When I was playing with it I got use to it and liked it then, but once I picked up a different cue...........I realized how different it really was. They have an aquired hit..........you either fight to the death for it or you hate it!
 
Vince Tedesco has an ad in the billiard magazines. He has a big collection of SW's for sale. If you go to Vegas, call him.

Hey I broke down and got a used Franklin . Yes I did have to buy a whole collection to get it but I got it and it was a pattern I wanted so I am happy . I will shoot with my cue and that is that . I bought it to play with it . Now that all the collectors are paying premium for them there is like an unsung rule not to shoot with a franklin southwest .Hey I am soory but I am and I will .I would not by a sothwest off of the computor though I would have to see iit and call about the pin# .Take it from someone that in the collection I bought got a southwest copy with the bold epoxyed in and everything looking the same but not real . There are some great copies out there . I can take the shafts and put them side by side on the southwest I have and perfect match .This cue has no cactus on it but made exactly the same and may I say it hits a ton . I would not get a southwest cue used without inspection in my hands and thats that .7 years I may be dead . I want what I want NOW!:)
 
My Southwest doesn't have markings.....numbers....or a cactus. And like you said......I gotta see it and touch it before I buy it. Because I know first hand of a couple of cue makers that have made COPIES of cues and passed them off as the real thing. Especially SW's because some are so plain, they are easy to copy. Along with a few other popular cues.

Sure sucks that some people are such low lifes to con people and mislead them and make fakes!, but they are out there!
 
Well you can always copy the look but the hit is something that cant be duplicated. Even if the people used the exact same materials as a real SW they wont feel the same
