Newest addition to my collection;
this is the cue that Rodney Morris used as his break cue to win the 1996 US Open, I have letters from both Barry and Rodney attesting to this, plus this is my first provenance cue

Nice pick up, pavlos!

This is what happens when you put away the paperwork before you read it; I'll check it out tonight,
Paul
btw this cue plays great!!!

OK So I looked at the papers I got with the cue and in Rodney's own writing he states that this IS the cue he broke with in the 1996 US Open to beat Reyes for First place.
I was so excited about getting the cue that I overlooked the details
Thanks
Paul

I STILL gotta have it.

Interested in a barely used spleen? A matching set of lungs at 90-95% condition, perhaps?

I'd be willing pay for shipping both ways, too. :D

I wonder how many people use their Szamboti for breaking. If I would see someone accidentally breaking with mine (if I had one) I would accidentally brutally murder them. I really like plain cues, they don't come much plainer than this, probably not much better playing also.

p.s. 8-ball I'll take your J&J, that way you allready have the shipment covered.

That's what I like to see...a cohesive effort that works out well for all those involved.

Pavlos, you on board??!! :)

I don't know the spleen and lungs angle looks very appealing.......
Okay, okay...I'll throw a good chunk of small intestine in there, just to sweeten the deal......

Love the cue, but the tip on shaft #2 looks a little flaaaaaaat. Maybe that was the one Rodney was using... and he just packed it down.

Yeah that tip is extra fat and flat; it is an ivory ferrule so maybe it was done for protection. That is the shaft that Rodney actually used with all the "battle scars" The other shaft is the one I shot with
Paul

Nice Barry, Jerry Ellis a gambler in Pittsburg originally from Maryland used a Balabushka solely for his break cue. I asked him why, he said" It's the best damn break cue i've ever had" he was playing with a Scruggs, Bob C.

Whatever works...they're built to be played with (IMO). Great cue. Whenever I get my Szamboti I'm going to break and shoot with it.....and throw it on the ground if I dog a shot....You like apples? How do you like them apples? :)

Of course I'm kidding about throwing it on the ground.......just trying to elevate some blood pressures.
