Anybody know

1)Plain Jane southwest goes for if ordered new?

2) How much a used plain Jane southwest goes for in todays Market?

thanks, Im really close on pulling the trigger on 2 southwest cues, just wanna make sure I dont kick myself in the head
 
If by Plain Jane, you mean satin finish cues with no cactus on the pin, they have not made these for 11 years or so. That is not to say they will not make them in the future though. They are made when someone needs training. If they have a new guy in the shop or something of that nature. I bought one of the last cues like this they made. It was $550.00 or $650.00with 1 shaft 11 years ago. I would value that same cue around $1K now.

They also made a few cues without points that were normal SW cues with the cactus. These cues would have 2 shafts and more value. Hope I have been helpful.
 
From the price list I saw a couple months ago a 6 point SW was the same price as a plain jane cue. Then if you want ebony its an extra $200.

This is not what I was told when I called the shop a couple of years ago. There are threads about satin finish Southwest cues on the forum from a few years ago, I couldn't find the one I posted in right after I called. Satin finish cues were going anywhere from $1000 to $1500 a few years ago and they were still making them.
