The website says $2000 total added. I've got a friend that's interested in playing and they were curious what the added money was on the men's side. I've never been to a Planet Pool tourney so I don't know how the added money is split between the men & women.

Thanks,
T

I don't know the exact split, but the bulk of the $2000 will go to the "Open" event, which is open to both men and women. The balance will go to the women only event.
Of couse, the Open event draws many more players, so this split is fair and equitable.
Some of the people directly involved with Planet Pool may come on and give you a better answer.

Hey Timberly,

The split is 75%/25%, making it $1500/$500. The expected total prize fund for the Open Division for this event will be approximately $5,500 and for the Women's will be $1700. The Women's event is also a WPBA qualifier on top of the prize fund. The winner gets a paid entry into the Cuetec Cues Classic in Fla in June.

:)
