Plastic Lamp Shades

I bought a pool light with the new plastic lamp shades. Yeah, they suck, break and crumble on table. Does anyone know where I can get replacements. I have searched the web to no avail. I had a steel shade from an old light but they are different sizes where they connect to the light.

I would suggest taking one of the old shades off and bringing it to a lighting store. You could also try one of the big box home improvement stores but they are typically less helpful.
 
I had a real good answer for you but it's in either Passaic, NJ or Winchester, VA. so you're SOL.

Do what Shannon said. Find the biggest or oldest lighting store in Iowa. Remember if you find a shade that looks right for your table but does not fit the fixture these things are screwed together with iron pipe thread fittings available in any hardware store.

Making modifications to your fixture is easy.

Good luck. I'm having problems finding bulbs now the EPA and congress has stepped into setting lighting laws. WTF. I didn't vote for that!

I am fine with the three plastic shades, I just would order 6 to to make sure i have extras. What is the diameter where it attaches to the light. I mentioned my steel shade because I have an old one but with a much large diameter where it attatches....Thanks everyone....
